This project involved major infrastructure and utility upgrades in preparation for the installation of custom manufactured wash, fill and inspection process equipment critical to the next step in ReVance’s product development and eventual approval/production. Construction took place within the occupied building. Since this is the only development facility ReVance has at its disposal, interruption to their ongoing product development and testing was not an option.
The installation required the addition of two Evapco cooling towers, piping, controls and pumps within a critical facility plant. The line equipment included two Lyomax 17 Lyophilizers and refrigerant skids, two washers, a filler and capper, final inspection and labeling station along with all supporting utilities, and pumps and blowers in a very limited space. The construction value on this project was $3.7M and the equipment cost was $11M.
